A note on the links

To your right, there are several links. The first link below my profile box is a General Comments link which will take you to an area in which you may post general comments about the site without the pressure of coming up with some specific response to a particular post. No pressure.

Below that are three furniture makers/designers/architects whose work I allow to influence me in my thoughts and designs about and for furniture. They were all born in the last third of the 19th century and helped to make leaps in the American aspect of furniture and building designs.

The three after that are designers from the last two-thirds of the 20th century who've had a profound influence on studio furniture and high end woodworking. Of these last three, Krenov is a new discovery for me and I hope to learn more about him. And of those six, any one that has reference links on the Wikipedia site, I recommend reading further as they provide a lot more than just the encyclopedia entry.

The last link goes to a "photo diary" of sorts and is a slightly more person entry into my life. Here I've posted pictures I've taken that amuse, inspire, etc.

This blog is an open forum pertaining to the furniture aspect of my life. Anything you want to discuss within those parameters in fair game. Ask me questions, criticize my work, offer suggestions/advice. I'll contemplate anything you throw at me in an effort to expand my mind and abilities.
