Library: Installation

This is what you would see upon first walking into the library. This isn't recent enough to show the 4" rubber base around the bottom, but that's no big deal.

Here is the view as you pass to the right towards the reference section and a small computer lab.

Standing behind the desk, here is a three shot panorama of where the two circulation librarians will work.

Here is the middle section with five drawers and some shelf space underneath.

And finally the end of the wrap coming to a stop just a few inches from this steel pillar. All that is left is a bit of crown molding around the top of this post and the backsplashes and trim.

Great work Adam. And you did a good job toning out that water spot. After the library patrons kick it a bit it won't even be noticable.

Yeah, and half of it is covered now. I was worried at first but the bleach really kicked in. It took about 5 treatments and about 4 1/2 hours to get it to that point. I would've kept going but it started to affect the coloring in the darker streaks of the grain, so I neutralized it and said, "Good enough."

works well enough with the library carpet as well. although, i don't care for the big white pole at the end. i know that's not yours, but it really stands out.

I thought they were going to paint it with something more than primer. Although, that may be the trim color. I think the wall color would look very nice on it though and help it to blend.

That's new carpet though, so I'm sure they tried to match the samples I gave them with the paint and carpet samples.

Beautiful job Adam, as always. You're getting to be quite the wood master.

Yeah, can't say I'm bothered by all the attention. Well, not too much. I still get uncomfortable when someone gushes on and on about something that I see a lot of problems with. Now, the parabola table up above, even by my standards is coming together superbly, so gushing there is fine.
