I'll talk about the perfect piece of furniture all day long, but you visit me in the shop and I'll show you how many times I've had to sacrafice the ideal for time and money constraints.
In a perfect world, yeah, but it's not, so I have to improvise and I'll admit that not every drawer I make turns out to have a nice backside.
I absolutely believe you should adhere to your ideals, your pictures of perfection, your principles. I'm a pedant AND a quixotic mofo.
But if you stuck to your principals, I'm not sure how many schools you've attended, but it could get all kinds of ugly.

I was at dinner with some friends last night and one of them mentioned that she saw the piece about you in the Bee. She said, "He needs to start selling that stuff." She also said you need to update the other website that just has pictures of your work on it.
Also, this was not the same person from whom I recently relayed the comment that you could totally sell your stuff to people in Fresno. Different person.
