Housekeeping

It looks like I'll be keeping the widget in the sidebar that posts recent comments. I had always wanted to install one but the only hack that had been written for Blogger for the last few years did recent comments from the front page only. So if a post went into the archives, comments wouldn't have shown up.

So, whether you noticed or not, they're there and will be staying for the foreseeable future. I really like the functionality of them because they allow you to keep up with current discussions without having to troll the last ten posts or whatever to see if the comment count has changed.

I haven't had a lot of discussion lately due to lots of things, probably mostly because people feel like this is a hostile environment. With politics being in full swing right now, I promise that I'll do my best to make sure there aren't any personal attacks if you want to say something. I know my posts tend to be inflammatory but they're not directed at friends or family. I also know that my views can be quite contradictory to the people that pass through here, so feel free to speak up and tell me when you disagree.
