I've never been one for lawn signs or bumper stickers or things of that nature. But I feel strongly on the issue of Prop 8 and I can't abide those who desire to insert discrimination directly into our state constitution. So when I saw that Tart had some extra bumper stickers, I offered to take one off her hands (thanks by the way).
In all seriousness though, nearly 12,000 gay couples have married since the institution was legalized. All my straight married readers, have your marriages been shaken up by this fact? Do you feel that your marriage is less valuable now?

Sorry I can't do the linky thing right.
I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to putting a sign on my lawn (well, the imaginary lawn inside my head, a basement apartment lacks a tangible out-of-doors space), or stickers on my car for fear that someone will decide to set my house ablaze or cut my brake lines because of it. Apparently that's been happening to people in Toronto who have Liberal party signs on their lawns...
But good for you for not being a chicken shit...They are also very a very economical and stylish way to cover dents, scratches and rust patches.
I'd love to have one as well...if it was a magnet and not a sticker. I'd proudly affix it as I work at FPU, letting everyone know I am for strong marriages.
LOL, it's the only Prop I know which way I'm voting right now. Got to work through the rest of my voter's guide.
did you put it on your car yet?
I did, and I check it everyday to see if anyone has messed with it.
I went into my supervisor's office yesterday (the first day I had it on the car) and he had a Yes on Prop. 8 lawn sign and several bumper stickers laying on his desk. Why he had a lawn sign at work I do not know.
We'll see what happens. I know a lot of my coworkers have voiced distain for those of the queer persuasion.
