It's Delurk Week here on the clickyweb. They call it National Delurk Week which is kind of silly. It's certainly not as if any one country has a monopoly on the internet, unless you're talking about the Chinese government. Zing!I suppose it could be called International Delurk Week, but wev.
If you're a reader, but you don't comment, now's your chance. Say hi. Anywhere really. This comment thread, that comment thread, whatever. It's your chance to essentially spam yourself penalty-free. You get to comment, leaving a link to your blog and I get to see all you people that are usually just hits on the ol' Sitemeter. Shoot, even you regular commenters can say 'sup.
So yeah, howdy ya'll.

Is it also a week where you can risk admitting being dumb without being ridiculed too much? cuz I went to three google links explaining 'national delurk week' before it dawned on me...that it was 'de-lurking'. I was wondering maybe who this Mr. or Mrs. Delurk was and what they had started.
Ok, so I'm an occassional commenter; not exactly a lurker.
I only blog occasionally, but coincidentally, I did recently post two new blogs on my myspace:

----you said that shameless plugging of one's site was completely within the boundaries set up by Mr./Mrs. Delurk, yes?
Guilty as charged. I am indeed a lurker and will most likely continue to be one. I appreciate all the work that you and others put into their pages. Thanks for giving me something to read, especially the crazy letters to the editor.
